White to Play, oil, 38 x 26 cm
I really enjoyed painting this Commission as I do play chess myself (1830 rating). This was one of those paintings I really wanted to keep hold of myself. At least I can still enjoy looking at this photograph, although its not quite the same as looking at the real thing!
