Marmalade on Toast, oil, 34 x 29 cm
This painting of rustic marmalade was one of the most popular paintings at my latest exhibition. I think it's the simple composition, beautiful lighting and the use of a small colour palette. I remember when I was photographing the subjects I could tell it was going to be a good painting.
