Chilli Peppers

Chilli Peppers, oil, 30 x 29 cm

I love chillies so always wanted to create a still life that did them justice. I decided to pair the chillies with an interesting blue cloth, as chillies have a lot of impact in several different ways - I knew the painting needed to reflect that complex character. I was lucky that there was a specialist chilli farm down here in Devon that had some incredible chillies. Its called the South Devon Chilli Farm and is highly recommended.
