Autumn Apples

Autumn Apples, oil, 36 x 28 cm

This is one of those paintings where I deal with very few objects in the composition. It's a careful balancing act to achieve the 'less is more' philosophy. I really like to push how far I can go with this minimalist approach. I think the still life genre can really lend itself to these minimalist moments - now that's a mouthful.
