This is my Coffee & Walnut Cake painting. (oil, 42 x 40 cm)
Now this painting was slightly different to my normal ones in that I had to create the cake myself. A benefit of me baking the cake meant that I could make it look like however I wanted. I chose a more traditional style but I could have gone for a more modern style and it would have looked completely different.
I can confirm that making a triple layered cake is very scary and not recommended for people of a nervous disposition. A collapse can happen at anytime and the filling has a mind of it own.
