Nectarines & Blue Bowl – oil on board – 36 cm x 31 cm

I found this beautiful blue bowl with a subtle pattern on it. I needed some fruit that contrasted and complimented the bowl. I think I have achieved it by choosing Nectarines. There is a lovely fine fuzz on the fruit which had to be painted in order to make them real. I hope you agree the end result was worth the effort.
