Bowl of Gooseberries –  acrylic on board – 29 cm x 20 cm

Gooseberries make a lovely subject to paint – they have an interesting vein pattern that stands out against the tranluscent fleshy centres. I used a crimson red bowl packed full of green and red gooseberries as the focal point of this painting.
