Whole Spices – acrylic on board – 38cm x 23cm

Here’s my new spices still life painting which was very enjoyable to paint.  I had quite a few different spices to choose from but decided to go with this selection.  The metal pestle and mortar is an integral part of the composition as it provides good contrast with all the organic materials – see images below.
