Here is the finished painting of Looe. The final stages of a painting like this are always the most exciting, as it involves adding all the last bits of detail that finish it off. In this instance it was all the people, cars, lights, flowers and boat detail. I am going to call this painting Homeward Bound, as the two boats are sailing back from the sea.
I saw this painting displayed in a gallery in Polperro today and thought that it was amazing. The light and colours used are perfect. Superb piece of artwork.
